We invite you to discover the Athens of Cuba, the city of bridges and the oldest tourist center in our country.
We will pick you up from your accommodation in Varadero at 8:00 am. We will travel by taxi or minibus for 45 minutes to reach the city of Matanzas.
We will stop on the Canímar River Bridge to take photos of the natural landscape. We will continue to the historic center of Matanzas, with a walking tour from Plaza Vigía to Parque de la Libertad and Narváez Boulevard.
We will visit the Pharmaceutical Museum, unique in Latin America, which houses 19th-century books and medicines.
We will also visit the Monserrate Lookout to admire the views of the city of Matanzas, the Yumurí Valley, and the Monserrate Hermitage.
Later, we will visit the Bellamar Caves and walk through them accompanied by a local guide, so you can appreciate the crystalline formations of stalagmites and stalactites.
After 5 hours of the tour, we will return you to your accommodation in Varadero.
